I describe yoga as the umbilical chord that attaches my soul to every day life. It feeds me the nutrients that I need in order to show up and live my most authentic self. Yoga is my teacher of health. It's the thread that ties my mind, body and spirit together. The study of yoga both on and off the mat is a life long journey. The alignment that it offers me keeps my curiosity engaged in a way that no other practice has been able to do. I am a lifelong student of Yoga.
Who or What Inspires You?
Compassion, kindness, joy, fear, forgiveness, trust and faith ALL inspire me. I'm inspired by life and the feeling of being ALIVE.

Loving. Fluid. Uplifting.
Where are you the most fearlessly authentic in your life?
When I am living from my heart instead of my head. When I am strumming on my Uke or moving my body in a creative way.
What is something not a lot of people know about you?
When I was a kid, I HATED waking up early. I had a bit of an attitude. ;) My Dad was brave enough to wake me up every morning by saying good morning to the trees and the birds outside my window before he would wake me up. Now, I wake up to experience the magic of 4am every day because I choose to. Thanks Dad! :)
Kundalini Flow blends Vinyasa Flow with the practice of Kundalini Yoga. Each class will consist of a light Vinyasa Flow, a Kriya, Meditation and Chanting followed by a deep Savasana. The class will be in a non-heated room.
Kriyas are a specific set of exercises that generate energy and deliver you to a specific energetic state, particularly one of greater awareness. The Kriyas work on strengthening your nervous system, balancing your glandular system, purifying the body and calming the mind. The breath work within the Kriyas are so powerful that it starts to strip away the layers that veil our consciousness, and in the sweet moments between poses we can sense the fullness of who we are.
Kundalini Yoga is a powerful and awakening practice. It is like an express train that shakes and wakes you up. It adds depth to your existing practice and to your life.
Power Vinyasa flow is a rigorous, sweaty yoga practice stemming from the ashtanga tradition. Poses are held for shorter periods of time and will link one breath with motion, creating a dynamic and fluid ‘meditation in motion.’ This is a hot, sweaty fun practice often set to fun, fluid, dynamic music. You will leave inspired and ready to shine off the mat!
