Why yoga?
To calm my mind, to connect with my body, to heal, to study myself, to practice being gentle and compassionate with myself, to connect with my partner, and to be with god.
 

Who or what inspires you?
My dad’s mom, Lydia, is an inspiration to me. She is always doing something good for people, simply because she believes in the good in humanity. My Grandma Lydia has always used her resources and talents (of which there are many) to benefit those who are in need, with no expectation of recognition or reward. She is a scholar, a world traveler, a humanitarian, an anarchist, an artist, and a yogi. I’m proud to have her blood running through my veins!
 

Three adjectives that describe you and your teaching style:
Rhythm. soul. play.
 

Where are you the most fearlessly authentic in your life?
I’m the most fearlessly authentic when I’m playing music. My music gets me in my flow, and there’s no space there for fear or insecurity.
 

What is something not a lot of people know about you?
I am literally in love with rainbow-flavored gummy candy.

  • Karma Class - Vinyasa Flow
  • Dynamic flow-based yoga. Recommended for those having a familiarity with Sun Salutations A and B.

    Power Vinyasa flow is a rigorous, sweaty yoga practice stemming from the ashtanga tradition. Poses are held for shorter periods of time and will link one breath with motion, creating a dynamic and fluid ‘meditation in motion.’ This is a hot, sweaty fun practice often set to fun, fluid, dynamic music. You will leave inspired and ready to shine off the mat!

    Room heated to 85-88 degrees.

     
    Karma classes are our same Vinyasa-Flow classes. Instead of memberships or class passes we only accept donations for them. Each quarter a local charity or cause is selected to receive ALL of the PROCEEDS from these classes.
