Danielle Jackman

I started taking yoga classes when I lived in San Francisco during college. From the moment I left my first class, I knew that there was something that undoubtedly set yoga apart from any other activity I had tried. There was an instant connection and draw to keep practicing. Not long after that first class, becoming a yoga teacher became my absolute dream. I continued to practice through the years at various studios, and finally landed at Just Be, where I found my home. I completed the teacher training in Fall 2016 and shortly thereafter completed a mentorship with Malia Hill.


Why yoga?
Yoga allows me to feel at home in my body and allows me to appreciate who I innately am. Yoga allows me to live in love, rather than in fear. Yoga keeps me aligned with my passion, with myself, and with my path.


Who or what inspires you?
My teachers inspire me for many reasons, but most prominently for their ability to so powerfully share parts of themselves every time they teach a class.


Three adjectives that describe you and your teaching style:
Tenacious. Compassionate. Honest.


Where are you the most fearlessly authentic in your life?
I am most fearlessly authentic in my career and in starting my own healing business. I now wake up and love what I do for a living.


What is something not a lot of people know about you?
Surfing comes in at a close second to yoga on my list of favorite hobbies. I love the ocean and am convinced I was a dolphin or mermaid in a past life.

    This class will take you on a journey to raise your vibration and discover your bliss. Offering a beautiful balance of doing and just being. You will journey through movement - sometimes self-led, sometimes guided - ending with a meditation that will leave you feeling balanced, connected, whole and awake.

  • Gentle Flow - Donation Class
  • Free Karma Class to raise money for Sparrows Nest to help the fight against human trafficking.
    Karma classes are our same Gentle Flow classes. Instead of memberships or class passes we only accept donations for them. Each quarter a local charity or cause is selected to receive ALL of the PROCEEDS from these classes.
    Suggested Donation $10
    Gentle Flow is offered in a non-heated room. This blissful practice focuses on moving slowly into basic yoga poses while using the breath as a tool to remain present and mindful. The slow pace of this class allows you to enjoy each pose. Expect lots of stretching and lengthening with a heavy dose of relaxation to wrap up your practice and leave you feeling great. Classes are suitable for beginners as well as advanced students.
