Jenni Wendell

Jenni has always been someone who loves to connect with and inspire others. Her classes take you on a journey to discovering your inner power and connection to the magic that exists within and around you. Her teaching style is described as loving, empowering, and magical.
 
She felt at home when she discovered yoga as a young adult. Like many others, she found herself experiencing depression, anxiety, and the common burnout. She credits yoga for bringing back peace to her mind, health to her body, and joy to her spirit.
 
Jenni left her corporate job in sports marketing to share the teachings of yoga, ThetaHealing® and create a community gathering place known as Just Be Yoga™. Just Be Yoga has become a well-known and respected yoga and healing community in the San Francisco East Bay Area. The vibe is warm & welcoming. The tribe of teachers are Fearlessly Authentic and touch hearts beyond the yoga mat.
 
She has had the honor of being a lululemon ambassador since 2013. She co-created and co-facilitates the 200 hour Just Be Yoga teacher training program that encompasses the teachings that have been passed along from her inspirational and masterful teachers.
 
She graduated with a BA in Public Relations and Marketing from Chico State. She has completed yoga trainings through ZUDA Yoga (Ann Marie Kramer & Jessica Micheletti) and Jason Crandell. She is a certified Basic & Advanced ThetaHealing® Instructor. ThetaHealing certifications include: Basic and Advanced DNA, Manifesting and Abundance, Game of Life as well as Intuitive Energy Therapy.
 
Why yoga?
Yoga has been one of the most effective practices to ground, balance, clear, and awaken me to the best version of myself. I come back to my mat over and over to feel lighter, brighter, and more connected. The trainings and intensives light up my soul and empower me in endless ways.

Who or what inspires you?
I am most inspired when I am creating and co-creating with others who are equally passionate about passing along the wisdom and teachings that lead to breakthroughs and awakening.

Three adjectives that describe you and your teaching style:
Flowing, spiritual, and empowering.

Where are you the most fearlessly authentic in your life?
On my yoga mat & in a ThetaHealing® session. These two practices have gifted me with tools to be authentic and fearless and clear the self-limiting bullsh*t. It’s a practice, a daily practice, that I bring into my life as a teacher, mentor, leader, wife, sister, and friend. Living and sharing the teachings requires me to be fearlessly authentic over and over again.

What is something not a lot of people know about you?
I spent 10 years working in the sports industry. I was a professional cheerleader for the San Jose Saber Cats during my junior and senior year of college then went on to work for the Sacramento River Cats in Corporate Sponsorship Sales & Marketing.

  • Vinyasa Flow - All Levels
  • Dynamic flow-based yoga. Recommended for those having a familiarity with Sun Salutations A and B.

    Power Vinyasa flow is a rigorous, sweaty yoga practice stemming from the ashtanga tradition. Poses are held for shorter periods of time and will link one breath with motion, creating a dynamic and fluid ‘meditation in motion.’ This is a hot, sweaty fun practice often set to fun, fluid, dynamic music. You will leave inspired and ready to shine off the mat!

    Room heated to 85-88 degrees.


  • Vinyasa Yoga 101 (non-heated)
  • This classes take place in a non-heated room. It is suitable for beginners who are looking for a slower paced, more descriptive experience. As well as advanced students who a looking to reconnect with the roots of the practice. The class will help you develop body awareness, learn the basic postures (asanas) and their modifications. The emphasis on discovering alignment that is best for you will help you build strength slowly and safely. Learn yogic breathing and how to link breath with movement. Have fun in this informative class.

  • Movement & Meditation
  • Awaken to your seat. 
     
    This class will take you on a journey to raise your vibration and discover your bliss. Offering a beautiful balance of doing and just being. You will journey through movement - sometimes self-led, sometimes guided - ending with a meditation that will leave you feeling balanced, connected, whole and awake.
