Vinyasa Flow- Basics


This class is taught by:
Moves more slowly than All Levels. A good place to start your Vinyasa practice.
 
Vinyasa Flow Yoga; connecting powerful breath with dynamic, flowing movements. Physical poses are held for shorter periods of time and connected through Sun Salutations and breath, creating the “flow” aspect of this practice. Often referred to as meditation in motion, vinyasa yoga cultivates: strength, endurance, flexibility, balance, focus, and tranquility.

Vinyasa has both mental and physical benefits. Physically, sweat expels toxins and re-energizes your body. Mentally, the synchronized breathing relaxes your mind and helps to release any blockage of energy flow throughout your body.
